Wake Up The Sun (Summer 2002)
This song is one we still play live periodically, because it’s just so much fun. This acoustic demo version was produced by Dan Wilson, who did all the drum programming on his Roland. It was a reject from the New Life sessions because we felt it was just too fluffy. It really is. But I’m a fan of the line “You’ll be my secret star.” It’s the one (pardon the pun) shining moment.
